IIT-Madras student found dead in hostel room

Chennai, Sep 16 (IANS) A fourth-year understudy of aeronautical designing at the Indian Organization of Innovation (IIT), Madras was found dead in his lodging room here, said police.

The understudy, recognized as Subhranshu Sarkar and hailing from Odisha, was, as per his cohorts, in a condition of discouragement for the recent days.

Kotturpuram police told the media people that the understudy had not emerged from his room since Thursday morning and when his companions thumped at his lodging room before sun-down, there was no reaction. At the point when the entryway was torn open, he was tracked down dead in the room.

The Kotturpuram police were brought in and they recuperated the body and sent it to Royapettah Government medical clinic for after death. A case has been enrolled and police examination has started.
