Jason David Frank’s ‘Power Rangers’ Costar Walter Jones Pays Tribute After His Death at 49: ‘Rest in Power’

The affection for Jason David Frank is pouring in after insight about the Power Officers alum’s demise at age 49. Frank’s previous Strong Morphin Power Officers costar Walter Emanuel Jones tells Individuals in an explanation that Frank “was a motivation to such countless individuals” and “his presence will be profoundly missed.”

“It’s so miserable to lose one more individual from our Officer family,” adds Jones, who played Zack Taylor, the Dark Officer, inverse Frank’s Tommy Oliver, the Green/White Officer, on the first series that sent off in 1993. (His passing comes 21 years after that of costar Thuy Trang, who died in 2001 from wounds supported in an auto crash. She was 27.)

“Jason was perhaps of the biggest trickster on the show,” Jones, 51, go on in his articulation to Individuals. “He had a wild funny bone.

We had our portion of promising and less promising times, yet I remained reliable about being an ear assuming he really wanted one.”
