In 1980, Rocchio wrote and produced some of the first on-stage reality comedy shows, “The Adventures Of Bermuda Schwartz” and “The Skitzoids” which starred Dan McVicar, Adam Small and Fred Goss. He returned to college and completed his Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism. He was hired by National Public Radio where he was a regular correspondent on “Morning Edition” and “All Things Considered.


” In 1978, he began performing at the Comedy Store in Hollywood along with such notables as Robin Williams, Andy Garcia and Sam Kinison.


After graduating from Long Beach Woodrow Wilson High School in 1974, Rocchio attended Long Beach City College and was involved in the theater and music departments. He starred in such productions as “Rain” and “Bury The Dead.
