Bhubaneswar, Sep 22 (IANS) In front of facilitating the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup in 2023, the Odisha government has upgraded the subsidizing for advancement of sports foundation at Kalinga Arena in Bhubaneswar and the Birsa Munda Hockey Arena in Rourkela, the two scenes for the uber occasion.
The state Bureau headed by Boss Pastor Naveen Patnaik took this choice on Thursday. The assessed cost for the undertaking has been improved from Rs 432.45 crore to Rs 875.78 crore, said Boss Secretary S.C. Mahapatra.

The Birsa Munda Hockey Arena is being developed at Rourkela with a seating limit of 20,000, which will make it the biggest hockey arena in India.

To advance games among the young, the Odisha government has additionally chosen to hold 15% seats in government actual training schools for understudies remaining in government sports lodgings.
