Sean grew up mostly in little towns in West and South Texas, the son of a Baptist preacher. In high school he started teaching himself CGI techniques and “turned pro” before graduation, thanks to the gift of the amazingly low-cost but powerful Amiga. After graduation Sean fooled around at the local community college, taking art and RTV classes. He didn’t know what he really wanted to do with the rest of my life until James Cameron’s T2 hit theaters in the Summer of 1991. After that first matinée showing, on that first day, Sean gained new focus and, thanks to the Internet, won himself an acceptance letter from California Institute of the Arts to further his studies in animation. Metrolight Studios recruited Sean out of CalArts after a portfolio review.
