To increase medical device exports, Centre sets up dedicated export promotion council

Chennai, Sep 22 (IANS) to advance commodity of clinical gadgets from India, the Association Service of Trade and Industry has chosen to set up a Product Advancement Gathering for Clinical Gadgets (EPCMD).

The EPCMD will be under the aegis of Branch of Drugs and will be settled in YEIDA, More noteworthy Noida and with provincial workplaces in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The Yamuna Interstate Modern Advancement Authority (YEIDA) will give Rs 3 crore as an underlying asset support for setting up of the Gathering, free office space at the impending Clinical Gadgets Park Normal Office Place, More noteworthy Noida, the public authority has chosen.

The Designing Commodity Advancement Committee of India (EEPC) will give help and direction to the EPCMD for an underlying time of five years.
