Afrobeats genius, Charles Chibueze Chukwu prevalently known as Crayon has uncovered he prevented his mom from selling organic products at the Iyana Iba market, Ojo area of Lagos after he was endorsed to Baby Fresh’s Blowtime Entertainment, an engraving of Mavin Records.

Talking about his ascent as a music hotshot, the “Ijo Laba” singer made the disclosure to Vanguard online TV.

The performer talked broadly on how he forfeited study to zero in on his music profession which assisted him with fund-raising to help his parent from penury.

 

He said, “My mom used to sell organic products like carrot, cucumber, and melon, in those days however she halted.

“In 2019, when I got my arrangement, I let myself know that my mom wouldn’t endure any longer. I called her like mum, I need to send you this measure of cash, I believe you should return home, she was at the market selling, I said OK, leave your things, return home.”

Pastel added that his mom was hesitant to leave the market however he convinced her until she quit.

“She said, make I sell little now, I said no o, just dey go house, she was so personal. I felt so profound for my mummy since I told her I would be the one to shut down this truckload of languishing over her. I’m happy I did that and I am cheerful. That is my success, and that is my objective.”

He uncovered that his family has been strong of his music vocation adding that he made his most memorable record in 2016.

“My father was like, are you certain, I said OK, you have our gifts, simply ensure you are content with anything you are doing, so I began going to the studio in 2016, made my most memorable record.

“My mum has forever been steady, she used to give me cash for meetings, my fantastic mum, father, everybody, I’m honored to have that sort of family,” he added.
